Few things are more satisfying and rewarding than writing about something about which you are passionate. For me, the environment is one of the things for which I have the greatest passion. As a father of two young girls, and, more generally, as a member of global humanity, I believe there is nothing more important than ensuring that our planet is a livable place for its incredible array of organisms for as long as possible. Few things are more crucial to making sure this occurs than a truly massive shift from fossil — and finite — fuels to renewable, clean forms of energy like solar.

Same old tired, and false, anti-electric car points recycled again and again

So, it's 2018, and Wired, a supposedly "progressive" media outlet with supposed expertise in new technologies just published an anti-electric car article with a telling headline, 'The potential pitfalls of electric cars, in 5 charts,' that, surprise, surprise -- NOT!, recirculates the same old arguments about electric cars allegedly being "just as dirty" as gasoline cars.

I wish that not all CCS/Level 3/"Fast" electric vehicle chargers were in metro areas, especially out here in the American West. I just decided not to drive my Chevy Bolt from Denver to my sister's in Goleta, Calif. (1,200 miles one way) for Christmas because there is not a SINGLE CCS charger along I-70/I-15 between Denver and Fillmore, Utah, 511 miles west of Denver.
