There's absolutely no doubt that electric cars are quicker than gasoline cars.
One of the biggest reasons I drive electric, and have been doing so for nearly six years, is to stick it to Big Oil. Big Oil destroys the air we breathe, the planet we live on and human and environmental health. It does so all in the name of generating as much profit as it can -- for as long as it can, regardless of the consequences on humanity, both present, and future, as well as on other living beings on the planet.
On my way to work today in my 2017 Chevy Bolt, I saw an older Tesla Model S P85 in front of me with a vanity plate that probably a lot of of Tesla owners in Colorado would love to have: TSLA EV.
So, the density of electric cars in the United States is quite variable with some states, for instance, California, seeing much more EV penetration than others, for instance, Mississippi or Kentucky.
It still hasn't seeped into wider public awareness that many cars are now equipped with video cameras that can, and do, capture people's every move. This is true whether they are a hit-and-run driver, a vandal, a would-be car thief, or a texting driver who has just rear-ended a car with a video system.
On this 4th of July, 2019, let's celebrate the joy of fueling independence :-)An electric vehicle frees you from trips to the gas station. You will never again share gas fumes with others at a self-serve gas station near you.
