About 10 years ago, in June of 2010, my ex-wife and I became the first homeowners in our Aurora, Colo. neighborhood to install a rooftop solar system on our single family home.
I feel like I am about to explode and I cannot, and will not, wait any longer to unload on one of the worst solar installation companies in the West: Sopris Solar. This, even though they are not finished with our solar installation, and lashing out right now could possibly make things worse. Of course, I am not sure how things can get worse because Sopris has been such an incompetent, poorly run solar installation company.
A couple of weeks ago, Sopris Solar completed the installation of a two-array 19.6 kW solar system on the roof of one of our garage block units and the roof of our HOA Community House here in Highline Crossing Cohousing Community in Littleton, Colo.
The cohousing community that I live in -- Highline Crossing Cohousing -- here in Littleton, Colo. is FINALLY getting solar after a one-year wait for the installation and, prior to that, 18 months of me, and several other residents here in this community, working toward persuading our community to add a 20 kW solar system.
So, a new 20 kW solar system with two separate arrays on two separate roof areas, including a set of garages, is going up in our Highline Crossing Cohousing Community here in Littleton, Colo. :-)
