I wish I knew French, because, from what I can tell, solar-charged driving is really starting to take off there, especially in Southern France and in Corsica, exciting EV + PV growth about which SolarChargedDriving.Com guest columnist Albert Graham has written.
In fact, I recently got an e-mail from Raphael Briere, President and Operation Director for ADVANSOLAR, which describes itself as “The Leader in Solar EV Mobility in France.”
ADVANSOLAR designs and fabricates solar-charging stations for EVs and for e-bikes.

SunPod Auto & SunPod Cyclo
Among the products ADVANSOLAR is producing: SunPod® Auto, a solar charging station for production EVs and SunPod® Cyclo, a solar charging station for electric bikes.
According to Briere, “These products are provided turnkey to our clients in France.”
Briere notes that ADVANSOLAR is setting up partnerships with companies throughout Europe. He also writes that the firm is interested in discussing potential partnerships in North America.
As a long-time supporter of solar-charged driving of all kinds, including solar-charged e-biking, we wish ADVANSOLAR the best and hope to see the company grow, in France, in Europe and globally — along with solar-charged driving in general, of course 🙂
