Commuting by car is bad for your health

traffic-congestion-i-70Commuting long distances and for long periods of time in a car, whether gasoline powered or electric, isn’t good for your physical or psychological health.

Among other things long-distance commuting increases stress levels, isn’t good for your back, increases the amount of pollution you breathe in, increases your changes of being in an accident, and, finally, cuts into the time that you can spend with family and friends.
