Below is a list of resources and web sites for EVs and PHEVs. SCD.Com is happy to consider additions to the list, which we will update, and expand, regularly. SCD.Com also welcomes invitations for reciprocal URL listing with relevant and related sites.

AllCarsElectric.com is about all electrically driven vehicles. According to its “About Us” page, it aims to be “an online space where like-minded people convene to observe, discuss, analyze and empower the electric car revolution”. The site was conceived by Dr. Lyle Dennis who has achieved national attention through his site GM-Volt.com.

Autobloggreen.com
This site covers and reviews hybrids, PHEVs, EVs and other cars fueled by alternative fuels, though it focuses primarily on hybrids.

CalCars.org
This site is devoted specifically to covering and promoting PHEVs. It is produced by the California Cars Initiative (CalCars.org), a Palo Alto-based nonprofit startup of entrepreneurs, engineers, environmentalists and consumers promoting 100+MPG plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).

Clean Fleet Report
The Clean Fleet Report covers the new generation of vehicles and the future of transportation. Reports detail new vehicles including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, and sustainable intermodal transportation including high-speed rail.

Edmunds.Com Green Car Advisor
Here, auto review powerhouse Edmunds.Com focuses on green cars, meaning hybrids, PHEVs, EVs, hydrogen cell cars, etc.

Electric Auto Association
This is the web site for the Electric Auto Association, formed in 1967 by Walter Laski in San Jose, California. The EAA is a non-profit educational organization that promotes the advancement and adoption of EVs.

Electric Car Society
This site offers an interesting historical look into the formation of the EV movement, inasmuch as it is itself rather historic. It also offers an interesting mix of information about electric driving.

Electrification Coalition
The Electrification Coalition is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit group of business leaders committed to promoting policies and actions that facilitate the deployment of electric vehicles on a mass scale in order to combat the economic, environmental, and national security dangers caused by our nation’s dependence on petroleum.

European Association for Battery, Hybrid & Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles
This is the web site for AVERE a non profit-making association, founded in 1978 under the aegis of the European Community, as a European network of industrial manufacturers and suppliers for electric vehicles. The association's goal is to promote the use of battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles and to rationalize the efforts of its member companies in the scientific and technological developments.

This web site seeks enlighten the world about the economic and environmental benefits of electric vehicles and sustainable energy.

EV Charger News
This site contains listings for the location of EV charging stations in California, Arizona, and Georgia, along with some listings for other states.

EVs and Energy
This is an excellent and thought-provoking blog written by Paul Scott, Vice President of the non-profit EV advocacy group Plug In America. Scott keeps you up-to-date on recent developments in the EV world, but does so with an edge. For example, he skillfully challenges some of the arguments against EVs while also problematizing some of the simplistic arguments for other alternative fuels such as hydrogen.

EV Perspective - Community for Electric Vehicle Enthusiasts
EV Perspective brings information and news together about EVs from multiple sources, primarily, though not exclusively via an RSS Feed that feeds articles about EVs from sources such as autobloggreen, treehugger.com, greencar.com, etc. into a single news and info stream. It also offers users an opportunity to participate in an online EV community. The web site's stated mission is "To get people excited about Electric Vehicles and to help move the industry forward."

Electric Drive Transportation Association
The EDTA is an industry association dedicated to advancing electric drive as a core technology on the road to sustainable mobility. The web site offers a variety of information about EVs, PHEVs, how they work, what the future looks like for these vehicles, etc.

This is a comprehensive site about electric vehicles, in particular those who are interested in finding out more about the Toyota RAV4 EV and the GM EV1.

EVWorld.Com
EVWorld.Com is devoted to covering and promoting EVs. Among other things, EVWorld.Com offers feature articles, vehicle reviews, and a newswire section. Not all content is free. For a $25 annual fee, you have access to all of EVWorld’s content.

Greenercars.org
This site provides “Green Scores” rating the environmental friendliness of every vehicle on market.

GreenCar.Com
GreenCar.com aims to provide car enthusiasts, environmentalists and everyday consumers with information about green vehicles, green energy and technologies.

GreenCarCongress.Com
Green Car Congress’ seeks to provide timely, high-quality editorial about the full spectrum of energy options, technologies, products, issues and policies related to sustainable mobility.

GreenCarReports.com
Green Car Reports drives and reviews green cars, offers advice and tips to consumers on going green, and keeps green-car enthusiasts in touch with the latest news and information they need to make an informed buying decision

Green Vehicle Guide (EPA)
Among other things, this site allows you to compare official EPA mileage of various cars, including hybrids, alongside one another.

Hybridcars.com
While this site isn’t devoted exclusively to EVs and/or PHEVs, it does contain regular and extensive coverage of them. The site is definitely modeled after Road & Track, Motor Trend, etc., but with a special focus on hybrids, and, to a considerably lesser extent, EVs, PHEVs, hydrogen-cell cars, biodiesel, and other alternatively fueled-cars.

This site is devoted to covering the latest news, information and trends on Nissan's all-electric LEAF.

Plug In America
This is a very useful and extensive site dedicated to informing the world about EVs. It is put together by a coalition of RAV4-EV drivers, former lessees of Honda EV+, GM EV1, Ford Ranger and Ford Th!nk City electric cars, and advocates of clean air and energy independence. Prior to 2008, Plug In America functioned as a loose network of individuals organized around websites of various names (like dontcrush.com and saveEV1.com) and then coalesced as a chapter of the Electric Auto Association. On January 2, 2008 Plug In America became a separate California Non-Profit Corporation.

Plug-in.Com
This web site offers information about EVs, PHEVs, electric charging, locations of electric charging stations in the U.S. and more. It is dedicated to covering and promoting EV and PHEV technologies.

Plugincars.Com
PluginCars.com was founded by Brad Berman, who created HybridCars.com in 2003. The PluginCars.com team of writers, researchers and industry analysts will report the news and related consumer info about your favorite electric-drive vehicles. The site hosts multiple online communities, each gathered around a specific EV or plug-in hybrid. And it provides opportunities for each vehicle-specific community to interact with the other—as a way to form a growing movement of electric drivers.

World Electric Vehicle Association Journal
The WEVA Journal is a scientific journal that covers all studies related to battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles comprehensively. The journal is intended to complement the EVS (Electric Vehicle Symposium), which is the largest international symposium of its kind and is coordinated by the World Electric Vehicle Association. The WEVA Journal is published periodically in conjunction with EVS, and the first issue contains academic papers selected from those presented at EVS-22.
