This ad-wrapped Nissan LEAF that advertises California Solar Electric is exactly the type of thing SolarChargedDriving.Com has been covering -- and promoting -- for nearly three years now.

We recently reached 1,000 entries on SolarChargedDriving.Com. I have to admit I had no idea when I started SolarChargedDriving.Com in Sept. 2009 that we’d achieve that number in less than three years.

While – perhaps somewhat luckily for us – no major media organization has yet found solar-charged driving interesting enough, or, perhaps I should say, lucrative enough, to cover, we at SolarChargedDriving.Com, which is dedicated to covering and promoting the revolutionary synergy between solar energy and electric vehicles, find it fascinating.

It’s not easy being a small guy on the web lately thanks to what seems to be an ever increasing number of web site attacks, hacking incidents, etc. As many of you perhaps noticed, SolarChargedDriving.Com was just victimized by such an attack, and promptly given the universal web site “kiss of death”, meaning the proverbial, but luckily for now at least, temporary Google “black list” status.

Fortunately, we’re now back on the Google “white list” – but more on that below.

SolarChargedDriving.Com celebrates its 2^nd anniversary Sept. 22, 2011.

An anniversary is a good time to reflect on change – and a lot has changed since we launched in Sept. 2009. Here’s a list of some of the most important and exciting changes for solar-charged driving during the past two years.

Sept. 22, 2009 -- We go online!We go live in late September 2009 with our interactive site devoted to covering and promoting the revolutionary synergy between solar energy and electric vehicles. Since then, more than 7,000 unique visitors from 102 different countries have visited SolarChargedDriving.Com.

It's been exactly one year since we launched SolarChargedDriving.Com. In that time, we've written and published hundreds of articles and columns, interviewed dozens and dozens of people and covered some fascinating stories.
